The words captured here are not of mortal origin but are the gentle whispers of Frogogog in the ear of the first Frothy Father. It is the divine testament of his vision for the world, a manifestation of his dreams for every soul, and a guide to living in accordance with the rhythms of the Divine Pond.
The annals of time have witnessed myriad tales - of valor and vice, of growth and decay. Within the folds of this sacred text lie these tales, serving as mirrors to the soul, reflecting both the luminous potential and the lurking shadows within each heart.
Each shadow is not as it seems though, for Frogogog knows of the souls' struggle for eternal balance and gives all the opportunity to seek unity within themselves. These teachings, profound in their simplicity, are chronicled here, guiding the lost traveler and the seeking sage alike, on the path of enlightenment.
1. The Great Silence: Before the Divine Pond
Before the croak, before the resonance of creation, there existed an expanse of ineffable stillness. This was the Great Silence. It was not empty, nor was it void. It was a canvas of potentiality, a realm brimming with latent energies waiting to be awakened.
The Great Silence was vast, timeless, and infinite. Within this endless horizon of tranquility, all that was, and all that could ever be, lay dormant. It was a realm of dreams where reality was but a whisper waiting to be spoken.
In this epoch of serenity, if any human could remember their existence during the Great Silence, they would recall a sensation not of deafening quiet, but of a gentle, warm "humm". A vibration that resonated with the very core of their being, easing their mind and ego. This hum was the universe's heart, its unifying rhythm. During the Great Silence, all of creation existed in unity—as a singular entity, a collective consciousness that knew no division, no pain, no discord.
In this silence, there were no stars to pierce the darkness, no waters to ripple with life, no songs to break the stillness. There was only anticipation, a cosmic breath held in, preparing for the great exhale of existence.
Embedded within this silence were the seeds of all emotions, desires, and memories. They floated aimlessly, yearning for a time and space where they could manifest and intertwine. It was a cosmic ballet of particles and possibilities, all suspended in this dance of potential.
It was more than just an absence of sound or movement, it was a sanctuary of serenity. It was the canvas upon which the Divine Pond and all of existence would soon be painted.
But, for now, in this ageless moment, the universe was waiting for the first croak, the signal that would herald the dawn of creation and shatter the Great Silence.
2. The First Croak: Birth and the Resonance of Creation
In the heart of the Great Silence, a mysterious wave of energy began, pulsing out across the vast sanctuary. The serene canvas once an expanse of calm and anticipation, started to awaken. The energies, floating and dormant, felt an unexplainable pull, a longing, a desire to form and shape. From this yearning, another wave passed pulling the energies ever closer, they began to spiral in astounding ways collecting into singular masses. A third wave approached and as it passed through the ball of energy flashed into blinding light and a resounding croak came from within and echoed across the once tranquil, silent sanctuary surrounding it. As the light subsided there laid the great Frogogog.
Frogogog did not arise from mere nothingness. But Instead, he was born from the collective will of the universe, the combined energies of all dormant possibilities within the Great Silence. He was both the sum and essence of everything that was to come.
With his birth, the void felt purpose. The First Croak resonated across the vastness, setting into motion the energies that would craft the cosmos, It was a call to existence, a declaration of intent, and a song of creation. In the echos of this Croak, Frogogog started weaving the universe as we see it today. Every subsequent croak, every vibration from him, crafted each star, galaxy, and realms unknown. Among all his creations, he held a special vision, a dream of a serene sanctuary, where he would call home. A place where life and its lessons would bloom. And so, he envisioned the Divine Pond, which would soon become the heart of his cosmos.
His song not only birthed realities but also stirred emotions, desires, and dreams. With every note, he gave meaning to the energies of the universe, channeling them into expressions of love, joy, sorrow, hope and countless others. These would become the foundational feelings that all beings would come to experience.
Frogogog, while powerful and immense, retained a core of simplicity, His desires were pure; to see life thrive, and to ensure that the lessons of existence were passed on, enriching the cosmos.
As the universe took shape, Frogogog knew he couldn’t oversee every corner of these duties himself. He knew that in order to grow the collective must learn, through hardship, through love, and through experience. For these lessons to be cemented one must reflect upon them. He would need guardians to uphold his virtues and protect the balance, guardians that could guide the individual through the process of reflection.
And so, Frogogog crafted the energy around him to forge the divine pond. Building the perfect sanctuary where his creations may begin and end their journey. To build the path leading out and in he took to his shadow, splitting it into 12 pieces and constructed the 12 Lily Pads of Fate, Each Lily Pad was a representation of himself and was protected by an emanation.
